Yes, it's been a while since I've blogged. My Dad told me he was sick of seeing the snow pix... It's June!! Of course, he's right, so... how is this one?

This is a shot of the Atlantic Ocean that I took on my cell phone on vacation in April. I had more but they are all on my other hard drives, which I can't get to right now.

Computer problems... I'll save that frustration for another post.

So here we are. June. We are finally getting into the summer months and the kids are outta school (except Carey who's last day is Monday). It already feels like time is flying by way too fast. The days are already getting shorter (as of yesterday) and I hate the thought that winter is coming... EVER!! *sigh*

The boys just arrived home from Boy Scout Camp and have been sleeping solidly for hours now. It was Samuel's first year and I think he earned 3 merit badges this week. I think that's a lot. Anyway, he got a leadership award for his Brownsea group and really impressed his leaders with his enthusiasm and leadership skills. He IS his father's child!

Daniel got to participate in the Foxfire group. Apparently that is a big deal for him too. This is a group of guys who dress and live like the frontiersmen and teach the boys skills like archery, riflery, branding, and tomahawk throwing. He has been wanting to do it for some time now.

Carey has to go to school still, just Monday. Her school didn't start till late September so they had some time to make up. She is VERY anxious to get to summer business, like swimming. She has worked so hard this year and has really improved her reading and math skills.

Cora will start at Carey's school in August, but for now is just hanging out. She misses Chris so much when he's gone that I may just send her with him next time.

Nathanael is getting quite big. He was 20lbs, 12oz at his last appointment almost a month ago. He is crawling and walking around on furniture. He can say words like "Yeah", "Da Da", and "Ma Ma", but ONLY when HE wants too!

We are thinking of several trips this summer if time and money cooperate. Florida, of course, back home to my mom's in Wisconsin, Palmyra NY, and several other spots that are only a day away.

We are also trying to buy a house... I'll save that drama for another post.

So, there is my update. You want pix... maybe if you're lucky. LOL
