I can't believe she is so big now! I have a tendency to still see her as a little girl, but I know I have to stop doing that. She has grown up so much, and I am beginning to see the young woman she is becoming.

Saturday we celebrated with a family birthday party for her, her cousin, and aunt (who also had birthdays last week). She made out like a bandit and got over $100 in gift certificates to Wal-Mart! So, being the cool mom that I am, instead of going right to school today, we went shopping :) She got several stuffed animals and toys that she has been wanting and a few posters to hang on her wall. She really didn't want to go to school... of course... and tried like heck to convince me to let her come home and "pack her bedroom" for our move this week (interpretation: play with all the cool new stuff!). I guess I'm just not that cool of a mom.
