Bloody Hell!

The boys had a scout campout this weekend and I had to drive all their gear to the church Friday afternoon. As I'm sitting there talking to some of the other parents, I see Cora in the back of the car crying. So I walk over there, getting the feeling as I get closer that something is definitely wrong with her. When I get to the car I see her covered in blood!

She couldn't tell me where she was hurt or how, but I saw my Pampered Chef door prize bag sitting on the seat beside her. As I pulled her out of the car, a parring knife fell out of her lap. Since she was soaked from her waist down, I thought she had stabbed herself!

Luckily (or not), it was just a small cut to the tip of her finger. Apparently, she had cut it when she took the protective sheath off of it. It wasn't bad, but OMGosh, did it leave a MESS!!

Who knew fingers could bleed that much?

Oh my gosh I am so glad she is ok. I had a terrible experience when Katia was little she had pulled a knife out of the dishwasher and was holding onto the blade side and the tip was pointing to her stomach. And she was in the stage of even if I just asked for something she had she would pull it to herself and say "NO" luckily my guardian angels were with my that day because she just handed me the knife.
