The girls school has what they call "Paragon." It's a hands on social studies program where each class is given a country, a question, and a time period. Then they take 5 weeks or so and learn all about that stuff with hands on activities that focus on that and include all of there specials (like music, art, etc.) At the end of 5 weeks they have "Paragon Night" for parents and friends to come see what they have learned.

Cora's class was learning about Egypt, in ancient times, with the question "Who Am I?" (sounds like a crazy game of Clue, doesn't it?). So they sang a cute song, "If You're a Person and You Know It" wearing their ancient Egyptian necklaces!
Carey's class is working on Ohio history (don't remember her ? though, ooops). Carey did this funny bit about one of the US Presidents from Ohio. She had everyone laughing. This video is the highlights of her presentation.
