The weather here as taken a turn for the better lately (actually prompting me out of the house after I swore I'd never go out again). It's been in the upper 50's mostly, but today it got to about 65! Unfortunately, it has been very wet and muddy and the sun hasn't been out as much as I would like, but I'll still take it anyway.
A storm system is coming through now, but I think the worst of it is gone. This is the same system that dropped a tornado in the plains yesterday. They have been warning us of high winds for over a day now. Gusts were supposed to get up to 60mph. And they did! but only for a few minutes. The view out of our back porch resembled what we saw out our windows during Hurricane Wilma. Fortunately, it didn't last nearly as long. And we still have power (but I know a few areasaround here are without).
The sun came out to make one more beautiful appearance right before it set, leaving us with this pretty pic.
