6 People I tag: Anyone who reads this (just let me know so I can read yours too)

Some of my quirks are:
  1. I hate my food to touch. I know, it all ends up in the same place, but it doesn't taste the same going down if it's all mixed up. Some foods are meant to be that way, like mashed potatoes and veggies, but I hate getting the juices from fruit on my bread, or jello on my pork chops. Yuck!
  2. Wet towels on the bathroom floor. We have all been down to one bathroom lately since waiting for the kid's bathroom to be fixed, and the boys keep doing this. I didn't realize that I didn't like it till they shared our bathroom. I also hate them on my bed! Chris used to do this till I broke him of it. Every time he left one on the bed, I put it on his side, under the covers. Imagine how much fun that was for him to sleep in :) Didn't take long for him to stop doing it. Chris suggested I start doing it to the boys.
  3. Seeing other peoples underwear. I mean, COME ON, No one wants to see that. So, I'm not very shy about calling people on it when their pants are hanging too low or their thong is showing outta the top. Even when they bend over, wear a longer shirt for crying out loud!
  4. Don't tap me. I hate it when someone, kids mostly, come up and tap on me to get my attention. This I have no explanation for... it just drives me crazy. I can forgive it when someone who doesn't know me does it, but not too much.
  5. Grammar. I have gotten much better at this over the years, well, at least outwardly so. I still cringe when someone says they "Did good," but I've not only learned to keep it to myself, I have actually spoken some bad grammar myself over the years. Then I go off in private and smack myself... just kidding.
  6. Don't call my boys "Dan" and "Sam." Their names are Daniel and Samuel. I can abide Sam I Am for Samuel, but never, NEVER Dan for Daniel! Nathanael doesn't seem to have the problem. You can shorten it to Nate, but he just doesn't look like a "Nate", so no one does it. My boys get embarrassed sometimes because there is no one I won't correct in this... teachers, bishops, friends, other parents, etc.

Hey, Sis...

I think the thing about your food not touching is genetic!! I can't stand it either, and my family teases me about it mercilessly!! LOL

Love, Shaunna : )

Well as far as the names go, i refuse to answer if people call me by my full given name. After ignoring them until they call me Jenni, they usually remember next time.
